The neat thing about this community is that the townhomes here are not all the same! These units were built from 1971-1978 and because the many different additions were built in different years, they is a variety of different floorplans and ammenities. The updates inside vary quite a bit. You can find 1-3 bedroom homes here with 1-3 bathrooms. Some have attached garages, others have detached garages; 1-2 car garages. You can find vaulted cielings and decks and patios in many of the units. These are not your typical townhomes!
There is a mandatory association with the townhomes. The association dues are very reasonable and includes sanitation, snow and lawn care, outside maintenence and building exterior, hazard insurance, professional management and shared ammenties such as tennis courts and swimming pools. Not to mention, there are walking trails all through Chelsea Woods, much like taking a walk in the woods! The association does allow both dogs and cats.

There is a recreation area there with two picnic shelters, play structure, running/jogging trails, boat launch, fishing pier, rentable canoe storage, skating rinks, a beach and concessions during beach season, restrooms and portable toilets. There is also a community playfield within walking distance and paved walking paths and trails around the entire area.
There is very easy access to I494 from this area and it's not far to jump onto I394 either. If you go up Vicksburg Lane which borders the community, you will run into restaurants and shopping. You are close to banks, the post office, and numerous worship centers and workout facilities. The Ridgedale shopping mall is 5 miles away and minutes to Wayzata.
