In 2014 Hispanic home ownership increase by 54,000 units according to the Nation Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. The number of Hispanic household owners units was 6,810,000 in 2014.
It's projected that home-ownership among Hispanic should grow to 120 Million units by 2050.
The language barrier is a common problem. Spanish speaking Realtors, Loan Officers and Attorneys are in demand to help with this large group of Buyers and Sellers. Limited experience, language barrier could be adding to confusion in the buying and selling process.
In many markets, there are two reason buyers are finding it hard to find Affordable Homes. First of all, Inventory shortages. One reason for the shortages is foreclosure or property in some state of foreclosure process. Many homes are just sitting vacant. Secondly, home seller may be in a negative equity situation.
