The Town of Castle Rock is located about 30 minutes (29 miles) South of Denver and enjoys a small population of 51,348, which has inched up about 1,000 per year. Elevation of Castle Rock is 6,202 feet above sea level. The median age is 33, and median household income is $85,933. Castle Rock includes Castle Pines, and many rural farm areas outside the City limits.

Sales increased from 115 sales in February to 168 in March
Days on Market increased from 57 days in February to 62 days in March
Average Price increased from $415,139 in February to $436,456 in March
List Price/Sold Price increased from 98.13% in February to 98.59% March
There was one short sale sold and two bank owned foreclosures sold.
(Distressed sales are very minimal as home values have increased substantially over the last couple of years.)
The highest sale was in rural Douglas County and sold for $2,275,000 and was built in 2004, has 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and a 8 car garage. This beautiful custom home has 9,499 total square feet and is located on 50 acres. This home was on the market for 889 days.
