Old Pecan Street Spring Arts Festival

A free, family event, the Pecan Street Festival is the oldest and largest art festival in Central Texas. Musicians, food vendors, artists and crafts people turn Sixth Street - historically called Pecan Street - into a lively street fair where there is something for people of all ages. 

Mueller Farmers' Market

Austin mixed-use urban village Mueller and TexasFarmersMarket are collaborating to bring a new farmers’ market to East Austin. The Mueller Farmers' Market will launch on Sunday, September 9 at Mueller's historic Browning Hangar off Airport Boulevard. Over 40 Texas vendors will sell local seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and specialty foods every Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Chesney has toured the nation every year since 2001 and tour dates for his 2011 "Going Coastal" outing have the prolific singer-songwriter touring the nation throughout August.


Lifetime Capital of Texas Triathlon

Location: Lady Bird Lake, Downtown Austin
Lifetime Capital of Texas Triathlon attracts all levels of athletes from top ranked professionals to first-time triathletes. The event includes the USA Paratriathlon National Championship, sprint and international distances, First Tri distance and sprint and international distance relays.
