Golf with the Chamber
There are still a few spaces open for teams to play in this year’s Chamber Classic Golf Tournament to be held Friday, May 8 at Evergreen Golf Course. You are “official” once you have paid your fees and submitted your team list. Cost is $70 per person and includes dinner and auction following the tournament. We are still looking for hole sponsors and donations for the auction. If you can help us with this fundraiser give the Chamber a call, 503-873-5615.

It is Flower Basket Time
Flower baskets will be hung throughout town on Tuesday, May 12. The baskets were planted in February so will have a good start by the time they are put up. The major portion of the basket cost is the daily watering and the fertilizing and additional care needed to keep them up through September. Basket sponsors pay $200 for a basket in front of their business, $175 for a full basket placed anywhere in town and $100 for a half sponsorship. Other donations in any amount are also welcome. So far we have raised about half of the cost for this year’s baskets. All money raised goes exclusively to the flower basket program. Your help is needed. Call the Chamber (503-873-5615) to find out how you can support this beautiful addition to our town.
