Roll Play Partners, What do you think?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with KB Global Solutions LLC.

So, I have a question for all successful brokers. I have began to find my rhythum with success and my schedule. I have reached out to numerous agents who tell me they are willing to help and be a role play partner but on call day they dont call like we planned. What is your role play partner like and what should agents looking to successfully practice to success need to look for?  I am seriously asking, I practice and learn my scripts but I seriously want that interaction to improvement.  lol  Thats what I call role playing "Interaction to improvement"!  You know you like that.....  Well I would love to hear some of your thoughts and this is a great avenue for expression.

I always have the best intentions to role play, but it seems like time just simply gets away from me during the day.  I always try and block out times of the day, but it just doesn't happen... good luck.

Kimberly,

everyone learns and works differently so dont get caught up on this. While I do think its important to know techniques and ways to reply DO NOT sound like a telemarketer reading a script. You want this to flow and roll off your tongue as if you have been asked this question a thousand times and be the KNOWLEDGEABLE professional they can count on!

If you like to do the role play you can do it yourself in a mirror and may actually get more from it as you see your body's inflections when you speak as well.

PS Welcome to the rain

Roll play is not anything that I have ever done with another agent to script a presentation.  Something new I suppose

You just have to keep looking for the right role play partner to find someone who is as motivated to succeed as you are.

Thanks all, I think role playing has its place.  For some the learning style may not work for them and I am open to that aspect of learning but I think it is great to set goals and achieve them. I was honestly astound by the number of agents who would agree and then not show up. I am not knocking them but it made me realize that I have to stay focus to my success and that there is a reason why some dont achieve the level of success I am going toward.

Thanks everyone for your input truly enlightening thoughts for me.
