5 Pop-By Ideas for Your Current Buyers

Homeownership is a big step, especially for first-time buyers. Show your buyers that you’re thinking of them with these helpful and thoughtful Pop-By gifts.

Moving boxes and tape. You can never have too many boxes or too much tape when you’re moving into a new home. Personalize the packing tape with your logo and information so that when family and friends help your clients move, they know who their agent was.

Energy bars. Moving—even the thought of it—can zap the energy of most people. Keep your buyers focused on the end-goal with a box of energy bars.

A plant. Nothing says ‘home’ like a nice potted plant or a plant to put in the garden. This green touch will help your buyers feel at home and help to clean the air.

Sponges and rubber gloves. Even if the sellers leave the home in great shape, it’s still a good idea to thoroughly clean it before moving in. Delivering sponges, rubber gloves and other cleaning items will help your buyers with the process.

A toolkit. A simple toolkit with a screwdriver, wrench, hammer and the essentials will come in handy for any minor repairs around the house.

Delivering thoughtful gifts to your current buyers shows that you care and keeps you at the top of their minds. After all, the best time to ask for a referral from your clients is when you’re currently working with them. Visit ReferralMaker.com to learn more about Pop-Bys and to start your 30-day free trial.

Love, love love this. One of our loan originators fills laundry baskets with the essentials including paper towels, cleaning supplies, light bulbs, TP, etc. I like your list; especially the plant. The energy bars are great too.

I like the moving boxes and tape idea.  I remember how many trips I made to the store to buy more when I moved!

Good ideas!  Thank you

One more thing. Making up sheets of labels with large font stating Kitchen, Bathroom, Living Room would be a big help too. One that says "Important Papers" and one that says "Open me First" for things needed immediately would be appreciated.

Some terrific ideas.  I really like the thought about boxes and tape. You are right,  you can never have too much.

I've got a slight concern with the Energy Bars.  Good idea, though I'll likely end up having one or two or three myself every day.  I may need to buy an extra box of them.
