Leaving my signature behind staging in Lafayette California

The butterfly is my logo for many personal reasons-one being I love the quietness of butterflies.  They go about their business so quietly getting so much done and they are so beautiful as they do it.  I try to keep this in mind with every job as we are busily working trying to make each home ultimately beautiful!!  As we finish each staging, I leave a butterfly as my signature somewhere in each home.  Be it on the pattern of a silk pillow, the napkin rings on the kitchen table or painted on the vase on the kitchen counter-I leave my signature in every C.L. Designs Staged Home.  When I de-stage the property I give this item to the homeowner as a thank you gift for their new home.

Do you leave your signature in your staged homes??  I would love to hear your ideas....

I've given this a lot of thought and haven't come up with anything quite as "personal" as you have.  I've been leaving a lovely scented diffuser so far, but I'm still open to coming up with another idea.

Do you have a logo that you could possibly use as your signature??  My friend has a sprig of lavendar as her logo and she uses this as her signature.  Is is amazing the gifts she finds!!  Pineapples are another great logo as they symbolize "welcome".

Hmmm, good question.  My business cards/postcards are a full-color picture, so I really don't have room to put on a logo.  I also don't have a website yet, but I will consider this.

Thank you!

Hmmm ... maybe I'll start leaving a chile pepper behind instead of my card.  You've got my wheels turning!

Hi. Our signature is a peacock, so you will always find a peacock or peacock feather somewhere in our work. Christine Rae of Certified Staging Professionals taught us, "It isn't fully staged unless you are fully proud." Hence, the peacock as our emblem of pride upon completion.

I love the peacock signature and what it symbolizes!  Fabulous!! I know Christine Rae-she is a wonderful lady.  Years ago we went to through the ASP training together.  Leaving your signature was something Barb taught us.  Thank you Amy and Michelle for commenting and have a wonderful weekend. What a great idea!  My parnter and I have just purchased some items to make sure we leave our signature in the homes we stage, also.  This is a great marketing tool and makes your company stand out.  Thank you for sharing!

Hi Cathy,

Great to see your post - and a "signature' look or item is something I learned from Barb - hers was an American flag that would put in all houses she staged.  It could be a small version or something a bit bigger but always found somewhere.  We use a frog - a little stuffed version of the "Frog and Toad" - with a little vest and checkered pants.  Other teammates use a rooster, one uses a pig.  I am not sure how we came up with the frog - I think it was the dangly legged frogs that Pier 1 used to carry that I thought were so cute.  We graduated to the stuffed version as it could be tied to things and was smaller.  I think having a signature look or item is key - it lets people know without having to look at a business card "who" did the staging! - Jennie

I usually inject the colour red somewhere, and typically in a small amount because it is a very strong colour. It's my colour - it is on my logo and in every room of my house. Good topic - I like hearing everyone's ideas on this one.

Jennie-I am sure your frogs are adorable!  I think toads would be fun because we can turn a toad into a prince in a way with staging.

I love using red.  Craig blogged some time back about how it keeps the eye moving when used sparingly in each room.  I love using orange.  I think it is such a happy color!!

Thanks for your comments ladies!!!
