PALM BEACH GARDENS HOME PRICING PROVIDES LOADS OF BUYER OPPORTUNITIES

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty of the Palm Beaches

Home prices in Palm Beach Gardens declined nearly five percent in March, 2015 providing wonderful opportunities for serious buyers.

At the same time the number of sales are soaring and inventory is declining.  While it is still very possible to find Palm Beach Gardens buyers a perfect home, the sales trend is indicating that when your buyer finds the right home, a prompt offer should be made.

The median sales price of all homes sold in Palm Beach Gardens in March was $286,250, down nearly five percent from a year ago and down eight percent from February sales.  The median price reflects half of the homes sold at a higher price and half sold lower.

Moderately priced homes are still dominating the market with 53 percent of the homes selling at or below $300,000 and 80 percent of the homes selling at or below $500,000.

The number of sales in Palm Beach Gardens  increased more than 17 percent in March compared with a year earlier and increased 40 percent from February.  The jump in sales brought the inventory of homes down to about a five month supply -- generally reflecting an average of about five months to sell a home.  Of course, homes in pristine condition, priced to the market will sell quicker than a home that needs work or is overpriced.
