This one was a tough one..my fist timer was referred to me by a past client. Hey, all the advertising I do..online and print, and MOST of my business still comes via referrals. Very proud of that I might add. Anyway, we've been looking and looking..several months now...
My client is 32, and a mover and a shaker who has aspirations politically, and is BUSY. Getting her when she's in town for a very limited inventory of entry level homes in her preferred areas of Central Indio, South Bermuda dunes, or East La Quinta, Low HOA'S, Pool, View, lots of room for the gal pals to come over to party..oh, and budget of $260,000 or less, isn't easy. So, with list in hand, I mounted my charge~!
We got beat to 3 homes, we raced to see the fourth. We waited in the driveway for a late agent. We walked in, spent 5 minutes in it, walked out.
"Are we on???" I ask.
Docs go out docusign, over to the List Agent with a succinct, humorous, appealing cover letter. We wait....
Counter comes..she signs, BOOM! SCORE..GOAL!!
Best part..I got her every single thing on her list..well, except the price. We had to pay $6,000 more. As I explained to her later.."yes, but you get what you pay for!"
