Crestwood Farms Garden Club shows pride and neighborhood beauty with upcoming Spring Garden Tour on May 3, 2015, at 1 - 5 PM.

How would you like to celebrate spring right next door to historic Bon Air by visiting five woodland gardens?  The northern Chesterfield County neighborhood of Crestwood Farms provide a wonderful example of neighborhood pride and collaboration.  Come this Sunday, May 3rd, and you'll get to experience various interesting landscapes with a variety of plants that often are integrated within wooded areas just outside neighborhood homes on the tour.  Cohesive neighborhood efforts such as these has helped Crestwood Farms become such a popular established neighborhood destination over the years.  Crestwood Farms has a total of 268 homes, broke ground in 1948, and the vast majority of these midcentury homes were built in the 1950s and 1960s.

Where can we purchase tickets in advance?

Would you still like to purchase tickets?  Visit all five homes on the Spring Garden Tour and enjoy complimentary refreshments at Lake Page's picnic area for one low price of $10.  The $10 tickets would need to be purchased in advance and are available at Sneeds Nursery, Great Big Greenhouse, Good Stuff Consignments and Perk Coffee & Luchbox in Bon Air.  Also, tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour for $12.  For more information, call (512) 387-6430 or look up Crestwood Farms Garden Club on Facebook.

Why Consider Purchasing a Home in Crestwood Farms?

As an older neighborhood from the middle 20th century, I find a lot of charm in these midcentury homes.  Many of the lots are one acre or larger, and I appreciate the great sense of community pride that Crestwood Farms offers.  At the time of this blog post, three homes currently are for sale in Crestwood Farms.

Many varieties of flowers attract interest for visitors at Crestwood Farms for the Spring Garden Tour.

Garden lovers will enjoy beautiful flowers like the peonies shown above at the Spring Garden Tour.
