The Condition of Your Sacramento Short Sale Home Matters

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

There are times in this business when I'm tempted to tell a potential short sale seller: why don't you just light the thing on fire and be done with it? But I don't advocate arson nor any illegal activities, so, even if those thoughts pass through my brain, not all of them make their way out of my lips. I do understand discretion. Plus, I don't want to alienate a potential source of business, yet on the other hand, something needs to be done with some of these short sales in Sacramento to make them more presentable to home buyers.

You can read more about it in my personal blog today: Allowing Your Sacramento Short Sale Home to Become a Dump is Stupid.

I had a home recently where I had to pic mac & cheese out of the carpet on picture day.  In my seller's defense, it was a tenant occupied home.  Since he had told her she could live rent free to keep it "show ready" I suggest he evict her.  The offers, in the meantime, are reflecting the poor living conditions she practices.

Morning Elizabeth some people think their home will sell in a market that has a short inventory.  It will sell but the price offered reflects condition and location.  Some just don't get it

Good morning Elizabeth.  It is often difficult to get those in a short sale situation to understand this.

Frank Rubi, MBA I'm afraid I'm not talking about the agents. I am addressing the sellers.

Chris Ann Cleland You could have Photoshopped it. I know you're not supposed to change the condition of anything through Photoshop but sue me, I photoshopped dog poop off a deck.
