The Real Estate Market in Kathleen GA in March 2015 was a good market for sellers this past month with sales on the rise and limited inventory for buyers to pick from (only 4 months of inventory available). While that is good news in the short-term, it is time for potential sellers to hop off the fence and get their home listed in this market. With plenty of buyers out looking, now is a great time to get your home listed and sold in Kathleen GA.

The number of home sales (27) this past month was the highest total in the past year, improving on the yearly average by 26%. It also represents a 37% increase over the same time-frame in 2014. With 103 homes for buyers and investors to pick from, consumers have options in several price points and styles in the Kathleen real estate market right now. 

The sales price to list price ratio was respectable coming in at 98.73%. That is a small increase over the 12-month average of 98.36%. When sellers market price their home they typically net a higher return.

The number of days-on-market for homes that sold (122 days) was off the 12-month average of 87 days, however, it was really good to see older inventory finally making it through closing. As always, the Kathleen GA homes that are selling the quickest have several characteristics in common:

Anita I don't like seeing the days on the market go up, but in the case of Kathleen, GA that is soften by the number of sales going up.  Hopefully the DOM turns around and sales continue to increase.
