When You're Writing About Whatever it Should Make Some Kind of Sense

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

Reading blogs on AR can suck me in so easily that I have to be careful about how much time I actually spend on AR. It's not like this Sacramento Realtor has unlimited periods of time during the day in which to chat with other real estate agents about things that are not pertinent to my clients nor my business. But I do enjoy the social aspect of it, and getting to know people. I've made a lot of great friends on AR.

I learn things, too. Even after 40 years of dwelling in real estate I still have room in my brain for new information. Sometimes, I pick up stuff from my blogging that I didn't even realize in myself, and that's been helpful as well. Because I freely share my thoughts and ideas with not only the consumer public but also with other agents. I am not bashful at letting others know how I run my business because what goes around, comes around in this life. I write about "whatever."

I know I try to only provide some tech and marketing help in my posts. However on occasion I do write some other things like reviews and things to do here in Tucson. As long as they are catogorized correctly it should work.

Well, I see some "whatever" ramblings that don't always make a lot of sense, but that's not the only point I was trying to make. Sharing enriches us all.

I once belonged to a Google Group, that had a cast of interesting characters.  I especially liked reading the words of one poster after the hours of 6:00 pm.  He would hit the sauce and write the most comical things!  Making sense wasn't always a priority, but it was definitely entertaining!

You are so right, it's not for everyone.  I feel terrible that we can't just snap our fingers and get some of the idiots out of the business. (I'm trying to be more snarky).  I'm glad to have gotten to "meet" you here on AR

I need to get back to daily blogging.  I seem to be losing my mojo.  I have so much to say, and so little energy to put it together.

I believe in the past two years or three I've only missed one day of blogging due to a power outage.  Could not get off the hill to get somewhere where there was power.  It was a sad day

Myrl Jeffcoat I find much of my entertainment on HBO or Showtime after 7 PM.

Chris Ann Cleland For me, I set aside a block of time, usually first thing in the morning to blog. And I don't leave my computer at night with files tossed around everywhere. I start wtih a clean slate in the AM.

James Dray Same as you, James. I don't recall ever missing a day of blogging, but I probably have somewhere along the line.

Tammy Lankford I'm glad to have met you, too, Tammy. Just suggesting that it's OK to let your tough side show sometimes. We all have an element of sweetness, I believe, but it's not always necessary to be sweet. We can bash 'em in the heads, if we want, and I'm not just talking about Shaun from the Night of the Dead. Snark can still be ladylake behavior for you from the South. :) Not only that, but it's soooooo much fun!!!

Gabe Sanders Precisely. Write what is motivating. That's been my M.O. from the beginning.
