My husband and I were discussing this last night after I got comments back on my blog about having a broker's license? The comment was made that the general public doesn't know what the designations mean. I agree with the comment completely. The person's next comment said the general public knows what a broker is so therefore they respect and tend to go with a person with a broker's license.
You see, I don't think the public knows the difference between a broker's license and the salesman's license either. So how do we market this knowledge to the public or do we? I thought about an article in the local paper explaining licensing and designations. I would like to know your thoughts on this. Does the public know? How do we or have you marketed your designations and/or license?
