This wildly popular 30 day pop up shop provides amazing deals on donated furniture, housewares, accessories and other high end finds on a first come first serve basis. Each year designers install vignettes using the donated items and all sales allow for Dwell With Dignity to help families escape poverty and homelessness. New items are donated daily so you never know what you will find there on any given day.
Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Tailgate Party at AT&T Stadium
Party with a purpose in Jerry World to help the North Texas Food Bank tackle hunger. Led by Abacus’ Kent Rathbun and various Dallas Cowboy ‘s past and present, this is your chance to eat luxe tailgate fare from 20 of the area’s hottest chefs, listen to great music by The Rusty Brothers and bid on coveted prizes in the silent and live auctions. Tickets start at $150.
Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour
Grab your mom and head to this home tour that has been a Dallas Mother’s Day tradition for generations. This year there are six featured homes and an English garden on tour. There is also a lecture series at the Aldredge House, music and entertainment in Savage Park and more. Perhaps coolest of all, complimentary transportation between tour homes is available via mini coaches and horse-drawn carriage. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the weekend of the event.
Addison Fork & Cork at Addison Circle Park
This two-day festival is all about food, craft beer, wine and spirits. Guests enjoy cooking demonstrations, cocktail classes and even a fire pit food tasting. To top it off, the Gin Blossoms are providing special entertainment during the event. Tickets start at just $15.
