On April 23, 2015 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) reported that economists are optimistic on the economy and strong home sales in 2015 from the April 23, 2015 NAHB 2015 Spring Construction Forecast Webinar
NAHB Chief Economist David Crowe, stated “We expect 2016 to be even better, due to a significant amount of pent-up demand and an economy that will be entering a period of reasonable strength and consistency.”
The single family housing production is expected to increase 9.0% in 2015 to 704,000 units and gain 39.0% to 977,000 units in 2016. There were approximately 355,00 units multifamily production ran in 2014 expected to go higher in 2015 and 2016.
