How do you Qualify a Home Buyer?  As a Professional Real Estate Agent you must understand the difference between a Prospect, and a Client.  A Prospect is someone who has interest in Buying or Selling a Home.  They call you and ask for information.  A Client is someone you Qualified and are ready to move forward with you as their Representative in Buying or Selling a Home?

 

The MOST important thing you must do before showing your Client Homes is getting them Qualified for a Home Loan, if they are not making an All Cash Offer.

 

My Qualifying criteria for my Home Buyers:

•Can I help them to the Best of my ability?

(Do they have Realistic Goals in Buying a Home?)

 

•Time Frame?

 

•Location?

 

•Home Style?

 

•Employment?

 

•Down Payment?

 

•CREDIT?

 

All of the above are Factors of getting a Prospect Qualified to a Client.  Sometimes an issue may arise when Credit Scores are low.  Do not let Credit Issues stop you from helping your Clients become Home Owners.  I have a resource that may Benefit your Clients.
