That's right, I love my airport!
I believe there are not many people who would say this. So many people have negative experiences with airports.
Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro is a great airport, in many ways. Getting to and from the airport is a breeze from anywhere in The Triad. Parking is easy and convenient. Access to drop offs and pick ups is easy and convenient. Typically, security lines are not long and are fast and efficient. Much of the airport has been updated with new ticket counters, waiting areas and concessions.
Of course, one of the main reasons people don't like airports is because of delayed flights. Delays from other airports are unavoidable, but delays due to PTI are rare.
Are there issues? Sure there . Flights to many areas don't originate here, so require flying to a hub. International? That's a good one, since there are no international flights arriving or leaving from PTI.
Overall, it's a great reason to live in Greensboro and the surrounding areas, especially if you are a frequent flier.
