There is a formula for success in Real Estate

We at Real Estate Grad School make this formula the simplest in the business, and the most accurate.

It’s the most able to take you where you want to go.

Here it is…

Work daily on all these four skills to stop your problems in the Real Estate business. At Real Estate Grad School we structure our curriculum to let you encounter every topic you’re going to discover in your business.

  1. Build the 4 Systems of your Real Estate business:

  • Planning
  • Prospecting
  • Marketing (including digital)
  • Service

There are many other systems and the way to learn what to make into a system is this thought: Systematize everything you do more than 3 times per month.

Here are some examples of things you can systematize:

  • Prospect Info
  • Client Info
  • Call Backs
  • Listing preparation
  • Listing Presentations
  • Listing in the first 24 hours
  • Seller Communication
  • Showings
  • Buyer Communication
  • Pending first 24 hours
  • Manage Transactions
  • Pending Communication
  • Internet Marketing
    Mailings

This is just a partial list.

There’s an unlimited number of systems. Anything you do more than 3 times per month you want to systematize.

Make your routines work systematically so you’ll do well even on your worst day.

It solves time management and organizational problems. You don’t solve an organizational problem by working on time management…

…you solve it by working on systems.

  1. Continually Look at Data:

When you run your business on good data, you’ll be:

  • Calm
  • Focused
  • Self Confident

Here’s a quote about data from Bill Gates:

“Data quickly alerts you to solve problems and take action on opportunities that you were unaware of to make the best decisions on strategy, purchases, what to do now and what to do next. Without data the risk is very high of making poor and costly decisions.”

The Basic Data You Need for Your Business

Data give you goals and quick easy tools to constantly measure progress in:

  • New Clients each week
  • Sales each month
  • Listings each month
  • Income ongoing

At Real Estate Grad School we offer you the best tool in the industry for measuring your data. We call themSuccess Charts and they’ll bring you more actionable data than you’ve ever seen coming from your business.

Charts help you manage your progress toward your goals. Managing goals is made possible by measuring your progress toward them. So you know what’s going on in your business and you’re getting the feedback to adjust what you’re doing.
You also have the benefit of data…Data allows you to focus on what’s important all day, every day.

Here’s an example:

GPS solves problems of focus because it gives you data about where you’re going, how to get there and if you’re going to get there on time. It lets you drive easily without second guessing all the time.

  1. You need to continuously recognize your Skill strengths and weaknesses.

Choose and focus on the skill that will help you most at this time. What could you tackle?

Here’s a short list:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Management
  2. Presentation and Negotiating
  3. Traditional Marketing and Networking
  4. Digital Marketing
  5. Goals, Results, Tracking and Planning
  6. Attitude and Motivation
  7. Time Management, Planning and Organization
  8. Selling and Communication
  9. Quality Service
  10. Assistants and Team Building
  11. Technology Tools and Skills
  12. Short Sale and Foreclosures

These are the 12 major categories of skills – and if you take our course, we’ll show you 72 skills that you get to grade yourself on according to how important each one is to you, and how good you are at doing them.

Once you have that data about your skills, you know exactly what skills to master, hone and leave aside.

Here’s something you can do immediately. Choose the skill that will help you most right now.

Do that every day, constantly.

Find what skills you need and constantly build them. That’s what you do with your data – to market better, work on service, or follow up, lead retention, prospecting.

Data gives you feedback to know that you’re working on the right things or what needs attention.

And it solves costly weaknesses.

I was watching the movie Pumping Iron – a little odd – it’s an old movie about Arnold Schwarzenegger. The thing that fascinated me is that he took ballet lessons, because he recognized that training in the movement of going from one pose to another could help him become Mr. Universe, and one of the greatest weight lifters in the world.

Find your business ballet and become one of the best realtors in the world.

  1. Attitude is your hidden skill set that will make you or break you.

You may not even be aware of how your upbringing, your self talk and the thoughts that pop into your head that you don’t take control of – all affect you.

Attitude creates your limits or removes them, and you can dramatically improve your ability to control your attitude.

You can dramatically increase your power as an agent by becoming aware of your attitude.

So often there’s an agent who goes from earning 20k, 50k to earning 200k. Two years ago we had an agent breakthrough 400k and slide back the next year to 300k. That agent realized the problem was attitude, and grew back to 400k.

That was a client working with me one-on-one, and our program helped him realize more about who he is and how his unfinished mental business was hurting his real estate business.

Here are the 8 ways we teach you to control your limits – and to extend them as far as want to go.

  1. Learn and Focus on Your Business “Why”
  2. Interrupt Your Negative Thought Pattern
  3. Control Your First Thoughts of Your Day
  4. Work on Gratitude because Fear and Gratitude Cannot Coexist
  5. Work on Affirmations – notice the language you use with yourself
  6. Build an Emotional Fitness Workout, until you’re strong emotionally everyday.
  7. Focus on your Goals – so they strengthen and bolster your attitude.
  8. Learn how to Breakthrough after you’ve had a Breakdown

These are some of the most exciting things because they strengthen your personal lives at the same time that they help your business.

Work daily for a strong, positive Attitude.

That’s part of the list because it takes work!

Thanks Joan, no comments doesn't bother me much.  I teach this stuff, speak to audeinces, and coach Agents all day with it.

I'm really glad to have this venue to share it yet again.

Again, thanks for the vote of confidence.
