"SHINY, SPLARKLY, NEW"

By
Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Sunset Realty

La Pine REALTOR®I think my license still might even have some fresh, wet ink on it still, its soooo new.  I am newly licensed Real Estate Agent.  I have been invloved with different areas of real estate in the past but this side of the fence is all new.  I am very outgoing, friendly, personable and ready to jump in with both feet.  As people ask me "why now",  "the market is horrible", I enjoy letting them know its not the best that we've seen but it is certainly the right time for me.  The office that I work in is very active and I feel very spoiled to live in the area that I do for the fact that it is soooo desirable to the one standing on the other side.  Thank you Active Rain and to the person that invited me for giving me the opportunity to be involved with such an awesome networking group of people.  Just in the last couple of weeks that I have been able to go through the website and see the various things that people have blogged, I have gained some great wealth of information.

Thank you again,

Hi! Welcome to the site. I see this is your first post.

There is a lot of reading on this site. I recommend that you read, read, read and then comment, comment, comment. There are so many different blogs to read. There are tons of topics out there from real estate, marketing, technology, seo, staging, mortgage, etc. It goes on and on. You'll start to get to know people and before you know it... you'll have figured out the benefits of the site.

Also check out Resources for the Active Rain Newbie.

Good luck!

Hi Bobbie! WELCOME! Yes, Active Rain is an investment well worth your time. You mention being a native, so leverage that. You know the town, the people, the neighborhoods. Write about them! You may be a new agent, but you've got a huge leg up on market knowledge.

Please take this piece of advice now...early in your blogging, before you waste time in the netherworld with no tags. (Tags are keywords that help you get found on the internet). Click on the search button just below and to the right of the Active Rain logo near the top of the page. Type in long tail key words and read what you find. I learned that lesson a bit late myself!

Happy blogging!
