Happy Mother's Day to all YOU Mother's in Active Rain Land!Today was an extrodinary day around here in Southport North Carolina..

First of all, we went to Church and had a wonderful program presented by the Children of our Church, Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport.  Wonderful program with lots of Singing and acting

 

After church, my daughters helped with Dinner.

The menu was:

Roast Beef

Rice and Gravy

Butterbeans

Peas

Corn

Biscuits with Butter and homemade Grape Jelly

Sweet Tea

    .......and the meal was topped off with Strawberry Shortcake with Whipped Cream.

 

To say the least,  a nap was in order after the family left for their own homes..
