Many buyers starting the USDA mortgage process ask “how to locate approved USDA Rural homes in Florida” Most of the counties in Florida do contain USDA eligible locations, in fact only Broward, Pinellas and Monroe do NOT contain any eligible locations.
The USDA 502 Guarantee program is for any single family home, condo or townhome that is physically located in a USDA approved eligible location. It does not matter who is selling the home, or whether the home is a ordinary “by owner type sale” short sale, foreclosure or bank owned property – the main factor is where the home is located.
