Farmers' Market in Brighton, Michigan
Where: Downtown Brighton, Michigan
Hours: Saturdays from 8 am - 1 pm.
The Farmers' Market is now open
The Farmer's market in downtown Brighton Michigan just opened up again beginning in May and will run until October.
On our last trip in May 2015 here are some of the items we were able to pick up. Organic Asparagus for $4/pound. Large chicken eggs from the local farm for $2.75 a dozen and a container of peppers for $2. We also got some red kale. I was told that there is no difference between red kale and green kale and that they taste the same.
I can really taste the difference in buying food from the Farmers' Market (especially the eggs) plus I feel the food is healthier since you know where it came from. I love supporting local farms too. There were also lots of flowers for sale since it was Mother's Day weekend.
