Stonecrop Gardens Cold Spring New York
A Hidden Gem in The Hudson Valley
A beautiful landscape of gardens in the Hudson Valley that is certainly new to me. I read about it in an article of what to do for Mother's Day this year. One look online at their photos and I was hooked. The gardens are open on Saturdays but for a few times a year they open the gardens for special occassions. I think that Mother's Day is a special day and off we went to see some absolutely beautiful flowers.
A picture perfect day in the sun with flowers, blue skies, green everywhere and a singing frog in the pond. We were invited for lemonade and cake at noon and it was delicious. A perfect afternoon in the Hudson Valley.
If you are looking to spend a lovely day in the gardens you will find all their info, times and special events here.
One more reason that living in the Hudson Valley makes perfect sense. There are so many wonderful things to do and see. The list is never ending.
