Real Estate in Texas

In the news this evening they were discussing the declining market. Just because it is raining somewhere else doesn't mean it is raining where we are at!!! The Austin and surrounding areas are still strong and I attribute that to our vibrant technological companies and of course ... how beautiful the Hill Country (Central Texas) is. 2006 and 2007 were remarkable years for the Real Estate market but 2008 is still going good it is just back to "normal" - how it was prior to the boom. There are alot of retirees moving into our area that are taking advantage of the great interest rates and the "good deals" out there. I wished the media would stop saying how bad the economy is and how the market is horrible because if they would just say how great some areas are and how the market is just getting back to where it normally is then it could be a boost to the economy but I realize as I'm sure most people do that we are in an election year and the media will speak doom and gloom until after the election. Vote Vote Vote It's your right .. It's your duty ... It's your voice ... GOD BLESS!!
