My girlfriend and I drove down to Chester, Nova Scotia from Halifax today via the scenic route. Here is a photo we took on the way of some lobster fishermen. Less than an hour drive.
Once in Chester we stopped at the Focsle Tavern for lunch. Man, they had an awesome Cajun chicken burger. Here is a very short video of the tavern just for fun. (It's the oldest Tavern in Nova Scotia).

Anyway so what does all this have to do with Real Estate? Well, Nova Scotia is one of the few places where Ocean Front property is still affordable. For example here is a listing. You are not on the water but it has ocean views and less than a 5 minute drive to the beach, only $164,000 Canadian $.
