Calgary Luxury Community: Britannia
The affluent community of Britannia was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, and was established only in 1956. Most of the development took place in the late 1950s. It is a well established, affluent neighborhood with mature leafy trees providing shade and privacy in the summertime. Britannia real estate mainly consists of single family executive homes for sale, with some multi-unit condominiums.
Originally known as “American Hill,” Britannia is the home of Calgary’s “old money”. The luxury community is complete with its own small shopping street and high energy grocery store.
