For many folks that are new to an area I often hear the following, "We would like to come to the area and rent for a year, because we don't know what the best neighborhoods are!" As someone who came to the area from out of state (Texas to be exact). I would like to offer some assistance to the cautious. I have moved twice and I wish someone had written this blog post for my benefit.
Lake Forest Subdivision is one of the top neighborhoods in my opinion. I myself live in Coeur d'Alene ... indeed not too far from this area. In fact when I moved over to CDA from Post Falls, LAKE FOREST was one of the neighborhoods that I searched regularly for available homes. At the time there were no homes to be had that met my family's needs. What happens in neighborhoods like Lake Forest is that homes tend to come on the market (several at a time) and then nothing!
I have currently listed the home at 6717 N Windy Pines and I firmly believe that it is one of the top locations in the subdivision! Why? Well if you stand in the living room and look out the front window at the unobscurred mountain views of Canfield you undoubtedly would agree.
Aside from a home that has been well maintained in pristine condition, I am convinced that this neighborhood shall appreciate in value faster than many like it. It backs to a brand new subdivision of even higher end homes. The speed to which homes are being built in this neghboring subdivision are a testament to the appeal of the location. Close to both north-south and east-west thoroughfares and close to shopping (major box and retail outlets and dining), but not so close as to create the noise and traffic.
It is time to throw caution to the wind and take it from someone just like you. 6717 N Windy Pines is a safe bet, with built in value!
