The Belly of the Beast

By
Home Inspector with Charles Buell Inspections Inc.

A “belly” is not hard to visualize.  We spend a lot of our lives concerned with what our bellies look like or don’t look like.
Just like our own bellies (related our personal plumbing), there are other kinds of bellies that can be of concern as relates to our home’s plumbing system.
If the plumbing drains sag too much, debris will collect and lead to poor drainage or even no drainage at all.
Sagging Drain---a very large belly
All drainage plumbing needs to be properly supported to prevent bellies from happening.
If only it was so easy for our own bellies.

I see the beast.  But his hand and phone are in the way, and I can't see the belly.
