Killingworth Seeks Solution to Over Crowding at Town Hall

By

For the past several years Killingworth has had a number of initiatives to expand space at town hall, including adding modular space in 2001.  A Selectman's Committee charged with developing alternative approaches to solving the space issue is diligently working on alternative plans to present to the board by this summer.

As is the case with many New England towns, Killingworth is ultimately run by the citizens.  This is a great issue to track and get involved in.  No doubt there will be public hearings and opportunities to provide your input.

To me there is nothing better than our form of town government.  At the very least, the meetings can be entertaining but mostly they are educational and an opportunity for you to shape the future of your town.

You can read more about this initiative in the local papers, http://http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=17849260&BRD=1634&PAG=461&dept_id=8416&rfi=6, or checking back to my blog.
