Hi Roy, the Horace Pippin Exhibit looks really interesting. For a self taught artist that is some great talent.

Not the biggest fan of paintings, but I love a good jaunt through museums.

Looks like a nice exhibit to take time to visit, Roy.  Pippin reminds me a little of Grandma Moses and her work.

The special exhibit on Horace Pippin, a self-taught American Artist is pleasantly amazing! His talent sets the bar high for motivated artists around the world!

Hi Roy -- looks like the Brandywine River Museum of Art is a wonderful place to find some interesting exhibits.  Museums and other cultural outlets make our communities very special.  

I was not familiar with his work.  Oh Wow, I am now.  I linked to the Brandywine Museum site for more info.  Man on a Bench, 1946, Birmingham Meeting House, Teachers's College Meeting House and more depicting actual sites, most thought provoking.  Amazing what you can learn here on active rain.
