The University of South Alabama is located two miles North of Regency and there has been some major development around the Campus in the past five years. Publix Grocery Store just opened at the corner of Airport Boulevard and University Boulevard just half a mile from Regency's Airport Boulevard entrance. Everyone enjoys good 'Souther Cookin' and residents of Regency have some very notable restaurants right in their backyard. Some of these dining places are Moe's Original BBQ West Mobile location, Montego's Caribbean Cafe and Bar, and Via Emilia. Medal of Honor Park (or Cottage Hill Park) is just a mile away. Park amenities include 4 softball fields with lights, playgroud, disc golf course, dog park, one mile concrete track around park, walking trails, tennis courts, football field, soccer fields, and lots of open green grass.
