The numbers are in for 1st Quarter home sales and the Springfield, MO and SW Missouri real estate market is looking great compared to years past. The average home sales price is up from 1st quarter of 2014. The new average for 2015 is now $146,321 compared to the average home sale price of $135,152 from 2014. Even better news is that the average "days on the market" is lower as well with only 89 days in 2015 compared to 93 from 2014.
Not only is it a Seller's Market but it is a Buyer's Market as well. New construction is increasing daily across all of SW Missouri, existing homes have better than ever upgrades and remodels and the interest rates are supposed to remain steady through the summer months.
