Predominantly developed into a commercial and industrial area, Manchester district is considered as home only by a few people. It is located between 58 Ave SE and 34 Ave SE to the south and north, between Blackfoot Trail and Macleod Trail to the east and west.
The Manchester community used to be built with small bungalows for laborers and their families. Only a few of these old bungalows remain, with high-rise apartment condominiums and multi-family homes replacing them in the area as planned by the city. The residential area is composed of 95% apartments and only 4% of these are occupied by their owners, which is favorable for real estate investors.
