Do you bring listing paperwork to a listing appointment?

Usually we do bring the paperwork with us.

We used to think that bringing paperwork
might jinx the deal, but now we draft listing agreement and disclosures and then tell the seller that we are ‘ready to go, if you are.’

Sometimes they are, and we finalize the listing agreement right then and there. We can get the property on MLS as soon as the professional photographer can make the photos.

Of course, sometimes we go to the listing appointment, and realize that the property and the seller are not a good fit for us, and we leave, wishing them well, and then just recycle the printed paper. :)
