June is here, and this month we officially kick off summer. Are you ready to have some fun with the family? Here are a few events going on in June for you to enjoy.

If you are looking for a day of Family Fun in a Christian environment – head to the Joyful Noise Family Fest at the National Sports Center. This event is taking place on June 5 & 6, and the artist lineup is fantastic this year. It includes TobyMac, Matthew West, For King and Country, Jamie Grace, and more! Are you into Farmers Markets? Head to the Maple Grove Community Center every Thursday from 3:00PM – 7:00PM. The Farmers Market runs from June 11 – October 22.
If you are a foodie and love to find something new, head to the Minnesota Zoo on June 17th from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and enjoy “Fish Bites”. Some of the area’s top chefs will be preparing a variety of ocean and freshwater dishes, and will be pairing them with exquisite wines. Visit the website for more information. Don’t forget about the fairs that will be happening in the area. You have the Tater Daze Festival happening at the Noble Sports Park from June 18 – 21st. The Hennepin County Fair is also happening the same weekend, and is taking place at the Corcoran Lion's Park.
Summer would not be summer without a good Jazz Festival. The 17th Annual Twin Cities Jazz Festival is taking place on June 25 – June 27 at Mears Park in St. Paul. The festival kicks off with the annual multi-club “Jazz Night Out” on Thursday, followed by six hours on Friday and a full day on Saturday of nonstop music on outdoor stages.
