Long & Foster - Smith Mountain Lake Goes Green Campaign

We have decided to educate the community in "Going Green" and network at the same time.  We have obtained corporate sponsors and have ordered 10,000 recycled grocery bags to hand out at the local super markets as a means to reduce the number of plastic bags that end in landfills or our lake. We feel that the trend for building is leaning in this direction and we want to be on board and more informed of the home construction trends. As a substitute teacher for an environmentally oriented school, this is another outlet for environmental awareness and I am working on bringing the mission the the class room.  We must remember that these children's parents are our clients and someday, these children will be our clients with more awareness of environmentally better construction options.
