Sensei Grasshopper: A Cajun Re-Connection
My Sensei : Nicole Trumps from the Elite Team in Lafayette, Lousiana, the heartland of Acadiana.
Nicole and I met through Activerain posts. I follow the blogs on Real Estate Technology and discovered that Nicole was a wealth of knowledge on the subject. Nicole and I are both with Keller Williams, which has a strong technology training department. We both have a passion for technology and marketing and to stay on the cutting edge.
I am originally from Cajun Country, now living in the Ozarks of Branson Missouri.
So our connection begins......
Sometimes it's just a small change that creates big results!

First Step: Nicole and I discussed various techniques that we both utilize in our internet marketing . We both utilize social media in our internet marketing strategies and the need for metrics to identify what works and doesn't work is critical.
Nicole shared with me that each agent on her team is required to Facebook post. Other parts of her social media strategy are handled by a Tech/marketing person.
Learnings: I realized the importance of her team requirement as each person has a different circle of influence. By utilizing EACH circle of influence to share information via Facebook vastly increases the potential viewership of the post with the wide variety of interests and local events that can be covered by 5 people versus 1.

Next Step: Will share this information with our Branson Missouri teams and individual realtors, as I think this strategy is highly effective in extending circles of influence and provide more diverse and interesting posts for the viewer.
Our current procedure on the larger teams is to have a Tech/Marketing/Admin Person handle the bulk of the Facebook posting, using a Fan page or Business Page.

Individual agents are oversaturating their personal Facebook page with their listings (which screams " I'm a Realtor")resulting in their friends, family and acquaintances "Unfollowing" them, with low viewership and very few leads.

Future Steps: Use Team Viewer to share our ideas and thoughts on how to efficiently post on Social Media to achieve maximum viewership which will convert to leads.
