What is NEXT after TEXT for Millennial?

 

Isn't it strange we have 'mixed' feeling for Millenial generation? Whereas the fact remains that we were of their age once upon a time!

What is their impact on our life and business?
(Let's skip life part of this equation and let their parents take care of that....lol!)

Now how and why are they different?

Because the information overload they have is what we never had!
The Technology they can 'master' was not even born then!
The communication skills they 'own' is what we always wanted to achive within our limited resources and could not!

So they are different - and are exposed to much more than what we were when we were in that age group!

This is what I know about them - and this is just my observation:

They know how to take quick decisions!
They respect elderly and seniors! In fact, they love their grand parents!
They already have learned from the mistakes we have done which lead to biggest depression in Real Estate - and are not likely to duplicate that.
They have razor sharp focus on what they want to achieve in their life!
They are willing to take calculated risks! (Yes, I have seen it, and @Kyle will agree with me on that!)

And to  justify the title - let me share this with you what I have observerd with them:

Yes, they used to love to TEXT! Now it's the NEXT level - MMS of the homes, videos from YouTube or any other source they can find it.

The best news is - if they continue their habit of a new versions or update of the app or software or car every few years...to their homes.....believe me. we will forget baby boomers Real Estate time!

They want to upgrade their lifestyle all the time - and 18 jobs in 40 years means at least 9 homes, if not more!

And 9 homes in 40 years means a home every 4-5 years! An average today is about 8 years!
