Delta Development Group will once again request aPlanned Development District (PDD) designation for “Spring Lake” development from the Planning Commission after withdrawing an identical request from the commission in February.
The PDD would apply to about 30 acres on property located on the right side of East Glenn Avenue just past Indian Hill Road at the edge of Auburn city limits. The request will be considered by the commission at its June 11 meeting.
The plans for Spring Lake propose a mixed-use development that includes 270 multi-family units and 79,200 square-feet of office, commercial and entertainment, and road service uses.
In the Planning Commission’s February meeting materials, the Planning Department recommended denial of the request because of a “lack of conformance with the land-use designation” for the property in the city’s CompPlan 2030.
