To Automate, or not to Automate??

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Dockside Realty, Inc. BK3027547

I am seriously considering automating my home.  I started doing some research a few weeks ago and  I am amazed at how many options are out there, and this is relatively new technology.  The investment can be significant, however.  The good news is that, in most cases, you can do it a little at a time.

Now I am wondering if this type of home automation will have any effect on the appraised value of the home?

I like the idea of having the option without everything having to be automated because power can be an issue here in the islands.
