Summertime Special...Show Us Your Home for the Summer

This is very similar to the December contest I hosted...Show Us Your Home for the Holidays. It's so easy...don't over think this one. 

I'm not asking you to share a picture of your home, but you can if you want to. Think of the word 'home' in broader terms. Your neighborhood, a water park, a walking trail...anything that is Summertime Special about your community. 

Does your community host a unique summer event? You can show us pictures from that. Maybe a park has a special garden area that blooms all summer long...share it. 

Consider this a localism post about something Summertime Special around you. Use this opportunity to share something local and to garner some more google juice. 

The first picture is of some beautiful poppies that my neighbor grows. The second picture shows one of the garden beds at Chapel of the Cross. 

Here are the rules. Shows us a picture and write something that is special about your community during the summer. Try to use at least 300 words, but I'm not counting. Feel free to use a video or include more than one picture. After you write your post...include a link in the comments section. That's it. You only need to write one post. There won't be any extra points for more posts. Everyone that plays along will get 500 points. The deadline is June, 30th.
