Summer Boat Show in Houston TX and easy drive from Katy TX is a show to see if you are interested in boats and water actives. Texas as well as Katy and all surrounding areas are loaded with folks who have a large interest in water based activities. I really wish I knew how to fish but I grew up in major Midwest city. Fishing was not a pastime where I lived. My grandfather was an excellent fishermen in his own right but I never got the opportunity to learn from him. He was always a crabby guy and not very friendly with me.
