When it comes to a commission, I see where it all can be mine and I see where some of it can be mine and I also where some can be yours too. When things get tight, and there are many reasons to cause that, people start coming from scarcity and I am not one to question another needs. That's their private business however...

MAKING REAL ESTATE MOVES

There are incidents in this business where double-ending, doing pocket listings and offering a poor split becomes more than a temptation. It becomes a way of life and many succumb to it. I remember when I was doing short sales and making offers on properties that were for sale learning about this

STALLING WHILE WORKING IT

You see the listing agent was trying to buy the property themselves or for a friend or relative. These agents were usually very hard to get a hold of, get back to, or very slow to respond. In other words, they learned how to stall while trying to get the banks approval process lined up for a close... for them!

HIDDEN AGENDAS?

I remember telling one agent off saying, why did you string me out for weeks and imply we had a deal when you had no intention of doing so. No response or answer was forthcoming. My client and I walked away disgusted but wiser. There are agents out there that don't play fair. Shocking but true

PATH TO YOUR DOOR

Take a step back and observe that opportunity doesn't just come one time and leave but instead will visit with you all your life. To make it more welcomed, how about creating an inviting way about yourself where many good things can come your way. The way you handle something determines that

WANT TO BE HAUNTED?

Those that prey & seize a situation and wrangle it their way or milk it for all they can with no regards to anyone else but their own outcome do not attract much true success but instead repel it. If one keeps that up, they may prevail in the having but... how they came to have it will haunt them.

LET'S DO BUSINESS!

When any opportunity or event to create a wealth presents itself, I am all eyes and ears. What I have added to that is that perhaps someone else may join me as we uncover the situation and explore the possibilities. Good because there is enough for all. After this, we can do another and another

WIN-WIN

If you haven't discovered the joys and deep satisfaction of win-win, then you are literally missing out. Why? Because in the world of win-win, one of those "wins" belongs to you. When you go to activate it, you can also activate the other guys as well. Keep this in mind too...

WHEN A "WIN" MEETS ANOTHER "WIN"

The other guy will activate yours while they are doing theirs. Win then fills the air and all parties can go about gathering their share as it should be. Not like lions that bring down a kill and then fight for a place to feast...NO! More like a thanksgiving gathering and sharing

HAPPY FOR ALL

The celebration of the coming together of prosperity...one after the other..as it should be for everyone. If you haven't learned by now that there is enough for all, then you do yourself a disservice. The laws of scarcity and abundance will not be mocked but better for you when served

Some of this was going on in our area also.  You just had to make a mental note - there is plenty of business for everyone.  It's not good to do business in the manner discribed - you'll be in the business longer and prosper if you use honesty and integrity in your business.  Great read, thanks for sharing!

In our little MLS with about 200 members those who hide listings and lead you along really stand out. Regretfully this seems to be taught in the largest agency here.
