Help a Newbie, Please!

By
Home Stager with Time to Stage

Hi all.  I'm hoping someone can help with what I'm sure is a really easy answer.  I've commented

on two blogs, and see that it still says edit/delete after my name.  I'm not doing something correctly, but

could be here until tomorrow, and still not figure it out.  What's up?

Thank you!

It's okay, Joan. It's supposed to say that "edit/delete' so that if sometime down the road, you want to amend your comments (spelling errors, foot in mouth, etc.) or you just want to delete your comment completely, you can. Make sense? Feel free to ask any other questions you may have along the way!

Thanks so much, Rich.  It made perfect sense after you explained it.  I've use edit quite a bit in the few comments I've made!  Foot in mouth is always a concern...

That was a good question, Joan!  I've edited mine many times--I'm grateful for that feature.  : )

Joan, when I first started commenting on posts I wondered the same thing.  I sent the question to AR and they gave the same answer as Rich.  So thanks for having the same question - sometimes you think you are the only one.  Betty

Welcome to AR and Newbie. I have also had to go back to comments I have made to fix a word or two.

After my comment has been posted.

Yolanda, Betty, Bobby, and Dale!  Thank you all for your comments and empathy.  Haven't been on in awhile and had completely forgotten, I'd ever written a mini-blog.  I was surprised when I signed in to see something about blog comments.  Amazing how something can resurface after so many months!  And, yes, it is good not feeling like you are the only one who doesn't get it.  Thank goodness for the edit button-if only there were one for mouths:)
