Tree Root Damage To Concrete In Garage

It is not uncommon to see tree root damage to concrete in Sacramento, we see it in sidewalks all the time. Seeing cracked concrete in garages is a little less likely if the concrete has been done correctly. We found this and many more tree roots in the concrete slab with extensive damage. It was missing many of the components of a good garage slab pour.

I think about this a lot when reading municipal landscape mandates. The simple fact is trees grow and concrete does not.

Good morning Tom,

I see how and why it happened. Too bad people do not educate themselves as to what type of tree to plant and where.

Make yourself a great day.

Good morning Tom.  I bet the people used a neighbor or friend who did not get a permit and done it at a bargain.
