Things To Do in Cape Coral-BMX Park
Posted by Jill Winchel, Realtor with Century 21, Sunbelt

Strausser BMX Sports Complex is located at 1410 SW 6th Place, just off of Skyline Drive and almost in the center of Cape Coral. The park consists of 18 acres and is across the street from the BMX Boat Ramp. The park features a BMX motocross track, three lighted softball fields, picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground. A picnic shelter with grill may be reserved for special events.

The park is nestled within a partially developed neighborhood and near freshwater canals. The BMX track has been in use since 1977.
The softball fields are currently used by Oasis High School and a few area adult softball leagues have played there since 1987.

The BMX Boat Ramp provides access to Weatherly Lake to the south and Alhambra Lake and Lake Kennedy, among others, to the north. It is just south of the park and has ample parking for a daily fee.
The motocross track is quite busy with young and old, alike. Current information can be found on the Cape Coral BMX Facebook page.
