It’s always exciting to get a new REO assignment. Usually this means I will get a new listing and a sale. Only occasionally if the bank prices the property too high will I loose the listing and sale. Lately the banks are trying a new strategy, mostly on occupied properties, where they send it to a auction house, especially if it’s occupied. This usually means the buyer will have to evict the tenants.  One of my newest REO assignments is at 4030 Pali Moana Place at Seacliff estates by the Kliauea Lighthouse. It’s unoccupied but I’m guessing it might go to a marketing auction as the house is not financeable due to condition issues. The property is amongst multi-million dollar homes, with wonderful views but has termite, mold and other issues. Here’s a sneak peak.
