The 3rd Annual Warriors On The Water Fishing Tournament is coming to Lee & Chatham counties this week. This is an event to say "Thank You" to our men & women in uniform. Many of our servicemen & women have served in Iraq & Afghanistan in the Global War on Terrorism. This day of recognition will be a small way of saying "Welcome Home" & "Job Well Done" to our military heroes. They will be paired with experienced bass anglers for an exciting day of trying to catch bass from Jordan Lake, located just south of Raleigh. Local businesses have step forward to provide trophies for the winners plus prizes & food to make for an unforgettable day! It begins Friday morning April 16th @ 7:30am with the blast off @ New Hope Boat Ramp. For you guys & girls in the Lee & Chatham county areas, if you see them out this week please take the time to say thank you. They should start rolling in sometime Tuesdday night late & will be in town until Saturday.
